The Wajer Hall of Fame: Our most iconic stunts over the years
At Wajer, we take craftsmanship seriously. Ourselves? Slightly less so. Because while our yachts are engineered with precision, many of our most memorable moments began with a simple, questionable question: “What if we…?”
What if we let a captain waterski behind a Wajer during the Monaco Grand Prix, fully dressed like a Red Bull Racing driver?
What if we wrapped a Wajer 55 like an oversized Christmas present and casually drove it through Amsterdam?
Or placed a 44-foot yacht into a hotel pool because… well, because it looked cool.
Over the years, we’ve brought our brand to life through stunts, and we are proud of every one of them. Not because they’re extravagant, but because they capture exactly what Wajer stands for: dedication, fun, the urge for adventure and the unwavering belief that great stories deserve great visuals.
So here’s a look back at some of our favorite Wajer stunts. We promise: every one of them really happened. And yes, we’d absolutely do them again.
Making sure Santa got his well-deserved holiday
St. Tropez, 2023
After a long season of delivering gifts, even Santa needs a break.
So one year, we decided to give him a proper holiday on a Wajer. Instead of snow, chimneys and reindeer, he swapped it all for blue water, sunshine and a well deserved moment to unwind on board.
The sight of Santa cruising along the coastline felt both unexpected and strangely fitting. It brought together the magic of the holidays with the ease and joy of life on a Wajer, creating a lighthearted moment that quickly became one of our seasonal favorites.
The day our Wajer 44 stole the spotlight
St. Tropez, 2023
Some locations simply feel made for a Wajer, even if they were never designed to hold one.
When it was time to unveil the Wajer 44 in St. Tropez, we wanted a setting that matched the elegance of the yacht itself. The idea that followed was ambitious but irresistible: placing the 44 directly into the pool of the iconic Le Beauvallon hotel.
It required careful planning, precise coordination and several conversations that began with “Is this really possible?” Yet once the yacht settled into the water, the scene felt almost effortless. Framed by the calm atmosphere of Le Beauvallon and the charm of the Riviera, the Wajer 44 looked completely at home.
Mirror Mirror on the lake…
Heeg, 2024
First impressions matter, especially when you take delivery of a Wajer.
For a select group of owners, we created a mirrored box as the starting point of their new season on the water. Once inside, they were completely surrounded by reflections, heightening the sense of anticipation without giving away what awaited them outside.
At the right moment, the sides of the box lowered and the view opened up: their brand-new Wajer, waiting in the water just ahead. The combination of surprise, setting and timing turned a handover into something much more personal and emotional.
The wrapped Wajer 55 touring Amsterdam
Amsterdam, 2022
Some gifts are too large to fit under a tree - and in our case, far too large to fit anywhere indoors.
For one of our favorite holiday moments, we wrapped an entire Wajer 55 as a Christmas present, complete with ribbons and glossy wrapping, and sent it through the streets of Amsterdam. Seeing a fully wrapped yacht glide past canals, cyclists and Christmas shoppers created exactly the kind of cheerful confusion we hoped for. People stopped, stared, pointed, laughed and filmed because it’s not every day a 55-foot “present” rolls by on its way to St. Tropez.
Adding a little speed to the fastest weekend of the year
Monaco F1 Grand Prix, 2024
Some moments can’t be planned - and others simply shouldn’t be, yet we do them anyway.
During the Monaco Grand Prix, when the port is filled with energy, noise and spectacle, we decided to add a Wajer twist of our own. The idea was simple: if Formula 1 celebrates speed, why not bring a little of that spirit onto the water?
So one of our captains suited up in full Red Bull Racing gear, clipped into a pair of waterskis and took off behind a Wajer as the harbour buzzed around him. It was unexpected, slightly surreal and undeniably entertaining, a light-hearted moment in the middle of one of the world’s most prestigious events.

Welcoming the Wajer 77 in the middle of the sea
Côte d'Azur, 2021
Some yachts deserve a debut that matches their presence, and the Wajer 77 was no exception.
For its first reveal, we brought the yacht to the open waters off the Côte d’Azur. What made the moment truly special wasn’t just the setting, but the company. Almost than 40 Wajers gathered around the 77, creating a floating circle of owners and friends who had come to share the experience.
When the yacht appeared in the middle of the fleet, the reaction was immediate. The scale, the lines, the atmosphere - everything aligned to create a moment that felt almost unreal. Afterwards, the entire group cruised together along the coastline, turning the launch into a celebration on the move.
A Wajer parade through the Amsterdam Canals
Amsterdam, 2019
Amsterdam has seen many parades over the years, but not quite like this one.
For a special moment in our history, we brought a fleet of Wajers to the heart of the city and cruised together along the canals. The sight of multiple yachts gliding past historic bridges, houseboats and the Amstel Hotel created a scene that felt both surreal and unmistakably Dutch.
Locals paused on the quays, cyclists slowed down, and tourists reached for their cameras as the yachts passed by in perfect formation. It was a celebration of our roots, our community and the country where Wajer’s story began.
Looking back, these stunts were never about making things bigger or bolder. They were simply moments where a fun idea turned into something memorable, shared with the people who make the Wajer world what it is. They brought smiles, stories and a few “did we really just do that?” moments along the way.
And although we can’t predict what the next idea will be, we know one thing for certain: as long as there are Wajers on the water, there will always be new stories to tell.
