Back to life on the water: European boating season is just around the corner
With longer and warmer days ahead, the Mediterranean and Hamptons boating season is officially back. After months of preparation, it's time for Wajers and their owners to reunite on the water.
The return of the season
At Wajer, we’ve ensured everything is in perfect shape for a seamless start to the season. Each boat has been thoroughly inspected, tested, and fine-tuned engines, systems, and onboard amenities are all fully operational.

Behind the scenes, our crew has been training throughout the winter at the Wajer Academy, sharpening their skills and preparing to deliver the highest level of service.
In particular, our care crew has undergone training at the Academy to handle all possible circumstances on the water. From guest comfort, where they perfected every detail of hospitality to ensure an exceptional experience on board, to advanced navigation training that ensures they're ready to handle the challenges of the open water, they’re fully prepared to act safely, no matter what the season brings. This includes intensive water training sessions, some of which took place in the pool, where they practiced real-life rescue and safety scenarios.
We received some snapshots from our teams in the hubs, capturing the final checks, preparations, and excitement for the season ahead.

Our teams across all hubs are ready to support owners with anything they need to get out on the water - whether for a sunny afternoon cruise or a full day at sea. With this level of preparation, owners can simply step aboard and enjoy - without a worry.
Celebrating the start of the season
The start of the season is always exciting, and this year was no different with our Welcome Your Wajer event. Twelve new Wajer owners gathered at our boathouse and shipyard in Heeg to christen their new boats and officially start their journeys on the water.
The event brought owners together for a special moment, celebrating the beginning of a new chapter on the water. After the traditional champagne showers, the group set off from Heeg for a scenic cruise to Durgerdam. The calm waters quickly gave way to thrilling conditions as the owners got to truly feel the power and performance of their Wajers.
It wasn’t just about a relaxing cruise; it was an exciting experience that must’ve sparked something after the winter months, reigniting the excitement for the season ahead. The rush, the wind in their faces, and the sunny conditions made for the perfect way to kickstart the summer. The day ended in Durgerdam with a toast to celebrate what promises to be an unforgettable season.
